Wireless internet validating identity

If you have connected to various wireless networks before, your computer may have problems connecting wirelessly, especially when the wireless network name (SSID) is the same with the previous ones you have connected to.Try a different laptop to see whether it has the same problem.You should be able to connect automatically to the Northwestern Wireless Network with your Net ID and Net ID password through your Network Preferences.This document will guide you through the process of connecting to the secure wireless network in Windows 7. I have Windows XP with SP3 (which is supposed to allow WPA2) with a Dell 1397 Wireless Card.

Scenario 1: Just one device cannot see the wireless network, while others can.

In order to configure the connection back to Automatic, edit the eduroam profile, go to the Connection tab and check Connect when this network is in range: Figure 14: Setting Automatic connection [1] = If the Wireless Network Connection icon is not present, this may be due to the wireless network manager of your vendor's card taking over from Windows' built-in one (Wireless Zero Configuration).

5) If you find an existing UNDA Wi Fi connections under "Manage Known Networks", proceed to the next step.
